Over the last few years, Starmark has organised a host of exclusive events such as book launches, panel discussions, meetings with celebrities, album launches, band performances and artist appearances. For kids and young adults, we host Summer Camps, Quizzes, Christmas Carnivals, and finally, Story Telling sessions where children can read to each other as well as readings by adult readers. Book launch of “Terror on the Titanic” by Samit Basu at South City Mall on 22nd July,’10.
Samit Basu, India’s favourite fantasy fiction writer launched his book “Terror on the Titanic” on the 25th of July. He followed the launch of the book with a wonderful audio visual presentation which completely enthralled the audience, both young and old. A session of questions and answers with the author followed, which gave the audience and the author a chance to interact with each other.

 

 


Book Launch of “Potato Chips” by Anshuman Mohan at Starmark on 9th July, ’10.

Anshuman Mohan visited Starmark, South City to launch his new book “Potato Chips”. The author shared with the audience his remarkable experience of writing the book. The occasion was graced by the presence of chief guest Barry O Brian who followed the book launch with a questions and answers session and had the audience in splits! Before ending the event the author and the chief guest read out interesting excerpts from the book.



 

 


Reading session and audio-visual presentation of Immortals of Melhua by Amish Tripathi at Starmark, South City on 25th June, ’10.

Starmark organised an exciting book reading session and audio visual presentation of Immortals of Melhua- the first book in the trilogy by Amish Tripathi. The event started with the presentation and was followed by a reading session by the author which greatly engrossed the audience.
